As the U.S auto market continues to heal from the negative effect of the worst recession since World War II, analysts expect U.S light cars deliveries to grow steadily in December alongside recovering demand. Auto experts believe that the performance of the market depends on buyers who already decided to delay purchases due to the lake of economic confidence.

Moreover, J.D Power & Associates & LMC Automotive ensured that on the yearly record, auto sales will be more than 13 million units in December, while 30 analysts were surveyed by Thomson Reuters said that sales likely gained 9 percent from a year earlier, keeping in mind that auto sales recorded 12.5 million vehicles in December last year.

Yet, we are waiting for automakers to report December deliveries by the beginning of the New Year, while TrueCar expects the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co to show the highest performance with 40 percent increase in sales, while Chrysler is anticipated to report a 34 percent increase.

TrueCar actually expected auto sales in the United States reached 12.8 million vehicles between January and December 2011 that represents a 10.3 percent increase from last year when sales recorded 11.6 million units. However, U.S auto sales recorded around 17 million units in the ten years through 2007, while the recession took place in 2008 caused sales to cool. TrueCar also expects U.S sales in 2012 to reach 14 million.
